First Post – Who Am I?

I have been thinking about writing a blog for several years but have only just had the courage to start.

When you start a blog there are two big questions:

  1. Who would want to read anything I write?
  2. Do I actually want anyone to read what I write?

Only you, the reader can answer the first question.

The answer to the second question is probably no! So why am I doing it?

I’m not quite sure but I feel a need to write and to share, who I am and some of the pearls of wisdom I have learned along my journey.

The reason I don’t want anyone to read this is because I am still battling with some old beliefs that I am not good enough, not worthy, and I’m afraid of what others think of me. However, I think you may have some of those beliefs too so maybe we can go on this new part of my journey together.

“Who am I?” is such a deep question. I am a Diabetes Nurse Educator. I am a meditation facilitator. I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt and very soon to be a grandmother. Those are some of the outer parts of my life which relate to the people in my life. I am also something much more than that, deeper than that. I believe that in my heart I am love and that to be and share love is  my purpose  in life.
